Meet the Doctor

Dr. Batchelor considers it his personal mission to provide his patients with the highest quality dental care. He enjoys the practice of expanded general dentistry and interactions with his patients. Dr. Batchelor’s philosophy about practicing the art of dentistry is, first and foremost, to educate and inform his patients about their individual dental needs. He considers it an honor that his patients have chosen to put their trust in him to achieve a healthy mouth and a beautiful smile.

Dr. Batchelor has lived and practiced dentistry in the Mount Greenwood community since 1999. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Meharry Medical College in Nashville TN. He is licensed to practice in Illinois, Indiana, and Tennessee. Dr. Batchelor has received extensive training in the techniques of endodontics and periodontics through continuing education. Dr. Batchelor is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry.

Dr. Batchelor is a member of several professional organizations, allowing him to remain at the forefront of dental science and technology. He is a member of the following professional organizations:

• American Association of Endodontists (Associate Member)
• Indiana Dental Association
• Northwest Indiana Dental Society
• Chicago / Gary Chapter of Meharry Medical College Alumni Association
• Spear Study Club

Outside of the office, Dr. Batchelor is happily married with a wonderful wife and two lovely daughters. He enjoys playing golf, biking, and visiting family and friends.
